Panama City Beach is a 27 mile long beach, located directly on the Gulf of Mexico in the panhandle of Florida. The Sunbird Conominimum complex is located on the East end of the beach. Panama City Beach has won several awards over the years, one of the Top 10 Beaches by the Travel Channel and Top 5 Best Beach award by Southern Living Magazine.

Hop on the Trolley just a block away at Walmart parking lot, and it makes stops at Shipwreck Island Water Park, Gulf World Marine Park and Pier Park Mall! Click my link for the Trolley Schedule!
Shopping
Shopping, shopping, shopping and eating, eating, eating! Pier Park is a new 1.1 million square foot open-air walking pedestrian mall located on Front Beach Rd right across the street from the Gulf!! This hot location makes so much sense because we are at the beach after all! Sit outside and have a meal and drinks at Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville or Backporch Seafood and Oyster House, or HofBrau House Beer Garden or Five Guys Burgers and Fries...enjoy people watching, or grab an icecream cone with the kids and catch a free concert and lots of activities in the summer!
There are way too many stores to list here, but aside from the few restaurants mentioned above, some of the anchor stores are: Borders, Dillard's, JCPenney, Margaritaville, Old Navy, Ron Jon Surf Shop, Target, and there is a 16-Plex Theater in the center of the mall!

Panama City Beach has plenty of souvenier and T-shirt shops all over town! Drive along Front Beach Road and stop at any of the numerous souvenier shops and check out all the post cards, t-shirts, gifts and more!
Water Sports
With 27 miles of coastline, you can be sure that water activities are a mainstay in Panama City Beach. From the bay to the beach, you'll have plenty of opportunity to explore all the water sports available here. You can gaze at underwater life on a glass-bottom boat tour, set sail into the sparkling Gulf of Mexico on a sailing charter or take to the sky for a breathtaking view as you parasail above it all! And for the more adventurous, jet ski rentals can be found all along the beach.
